Reigate Division won in 3 out of 4 categories at the Reigate and Banstead Volunteer awards.

Emily Raynor took home a Young Volunteer award for her commitment, support and encouraging positivity for volunteering with 3rd Redhill Rainbows and 10th Redhill Guides.

Elaine Rollason from 3rd Merstham Brownies won in the Individual Volunteer category for her enthusiasm and passion to deliver a fun and engaging programme for her units.

Sonia and Emma, Division Commsioners took home the team award for their hard work regenerating Empire Hall along with running the Division.

Winners were presented with an award from Reigate and Banstead Mayor Councillor Frank Kelly.

We want to thank Reigate and Banstead Borough Council and Voluntary Action Reigate & Banstead (VARB) for holding the event and recognising the important work volunteers provide.

Councillor Frank Kelly said: “Volunteers represent a crucial force for positive change in communities, helping to make our borough a better place to live and providing support to those who need it most. Recent years have highlighted just how essential volunteers are for so many of us, so it is important we give them the recognition they deserve.”
